Snow!!

I guess you have to be here to understand the gravity of snow in a campground. The roads are icy, the ground is crunchy, the pipes froze two days ago, and the little space heaters are struggling to keep us warm enough. But…it is so pretty!

Here are just a few of the photos we’ve taken over the last couple days:

Hopefully this stuff melts enough by Tuesday so we can head south to see the girls and Sam’s sisters before we begin the journey back to the East Coast.

Well, you have had your taste of beautiful snow scenery and all that goes with it. Now I hope the warm winds melt it all so you can go south. Say Hi to the girls and give them a hug for us in Virginia. Will miss all of you at Christmas but want you to have a safe trip back east. The house across the street will be for sale soon as my neighbor passed away. She was 82 and very ill. Peace for her.

    • Thanks Mama. Snow is beautiful. I’d like a small snow plow though! We will keep in touch along the way.

Theresa, so sorry you aren’t able to enjoy this beautiful snow. We’ve been home for three days, but have water and warmth. I can imagine it’s not too fun in a motorhome with no water and not enough heat. Drive safely to California and have a wonderful Christmas your your family. Will you come back to Oregon before heading east, or just go on from there?

    • Thanks Lynne. Water’s back on and it’s warm enough. Just a little hard to get around outside. We’ll be fine though. We won’t be coming back to Oregon. Time to put closure on this chapter. Let’s keep in touch on Facebook. Take care.
